La Via Lattea Invernale si erge sopra il castello di Mongialino. Il castello è un antico forte il cui elemento architettonico più caratteristico è l'antica torre a base circolare su cui sta tramontando Giove. Poco distante dal castello si trovano alcuni stagni utilizzati per l'irrigazione dei terreni circostanti. Circondato dalle canne lacustri, la placida acqua diventa uno specchio per gli astri del cielo.

The Winter Milky Way rises above Mongialino Castle. The castle is an ancient fort whose most characteristic architectural feature is the ancient circular tower on which Jupiter is setting. Not far from the castle are several ponds used to irrigate the surrounding land. Surrounded by lake reeds, the placid water becomes a mirror for the stars in the sky.
