Earthshine Moon and M44 Alignment Above Mount Etna

La luna cinerea è appena sorta sopra il cratere di sud east del monte etna che mostra ancora segni di attività come testimoniato dai bagliori rossastri. Il cratere di sud est è ora la cima più alta del vulcano e lo è diventata a causa dei numerosi eventi parossistici che si sono succeduti quest'anno. La luna è sorta in prossimità con l'ammasso aperto M44 detto Beehive Cluster. Molte velature hanno reso difficile la vista di questo allineamento ma al contempo hanno restituito profondità alla scena grazie anche ai colori della corona lunare.

The ashen moon has just risen over the south east crater of Mount Etna which still shows signs of activity as evidenced by the reddish glows. The southeastern crater is now the highest peak of the volcano and has become so due to the numerous paroxysmal events that have taken place this year. The moon rose near the open cluster M44 called Beehive Cluster. Many veils have made it difficult to see this alignment but at the same time have restored depth to the scene thanks to the colors of the lunar corona.
