Oggi voglio proporvi uno sguardo diverso sulla congiunzione tra Venere e Giove dell'8 giugno 2026. Se i miei scatti precedenti puntavano a esaltare la pura bellezza del nostro cielo, questa nuova immagine – realizzata sempre nei pressi della torre Bordonaro Soprano – mostra invece l’impatto profondo dell'antropizzazione.
Sebbene la congiunzione risplenda in tutto il suo fascino, impreziosita da una splendida corona che avvolge Venere, è impossibile non provare un pizzico di amarezza: lo scatto è infatti letteralmente solcato dalle scie dei troppi satelliti passati nell'inquadratura.
Questo racconto fotografico diventa così un'occasione per riflettere. Proteggere il nostro cielo dall'affollamento tecnologico e dall'inquinamento luminoso è fondamentale: rischiamo di perdere, per sempre, lo spettacolo più grande del cosmo.

Today I’d like to offer you a different perspective on the conjunction between Venus and Jupiter on 8 June 2026. Whilst my previous photographs aimed to highlight the sheer beauty of our sky, this new image – also taken near the Bordonaro Soprano tower – instead reveals the profound impact of human activity.
Although the conjunction shines in all its splendour, enhanced by a magnificent corona enveloping Venus, it is impossible not to feel a touch of bitterness: the shot is, in fact, literally criss-crossed by the trails of the all too many satellites that have passed through the frame.
This photographic narrative thus becomes an opportunity for reflection. Protecting our sky from technological clutter and light pollution is essential: we risk losing, forever, the greatest spectacle in the cosmos.
