Siamo a Ragusa Ibla, una delle più affascinanti espressioni del barocco siciliano e patrimonio UNESCO, dove il Duomo di San Giorgio domina la città con la sua elegante facciata e la grande cupola che sembra protendersi verso il cielo.
L’abitato si sviluppa su più livelli in un intreccio di vicoli, scalinate e piccole case in pietra, conducendo lo sguardo tra palazzi nobiliari e chiese che custodiscono secoli di storia e bellezza. Sopra questo scenario si alza la sottile falce lunare, accompagnata dalla luce soffusa della parte in ombra del disco, delicatamente illuminata dalla luce riflessa della Terra.
L’atmosfera è sospesa e quasi irreale. Un leggero vento di scirocco attraversa le strade della città senza turbarne la quiete, portando con sé un tepore delicato che amplifica il fascino della notte siciliana e la sensazione di trovarsi immersi nella Sicilia più autentica.

We are in Ragusa Ibla, one of the most captivating examples of Sicilian Baroque and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the Cathedral of San Giorgio dominates the city with its elegant façade and grand dome that seems to reach up towards the sky.
The town unfolds across several levels in a maze of narrow streets, stairways and small stone houses, drawing the eye between noble palaces and churches that hold centuries of history and beauty. Above this scene rises the slender crescent moon, accompanied by the soft glow of the moon’s shadowed side, delicately illuminated by the Earth’s reflected light.
The atmosphere is suspended and almost unreal. A light sirocco breeze sweeps through the city streets without disturbing the tranquillity, bringing with it a gentle warmth that enhances the charm of the Sicilian night and the feeling of being immersed in the most authentic Sicily.
