Winter Milky Way Above Piano Dei Grilli And Mount Etna

Siamo arrivati al rifugio Piano dei Grilli presso la cittadina di Bronte nota per la sua coltivazione di pistacchi. La serata è fresca ma non freddissima e l'Etna si mostra innevato ma dormiente. Una piccola volpe incuriosita si avvicina a noi guardandoci a distanza seduta sulle zampe posteriori. I suoi occhi brillano di verde intenso. Tutto attorno a noi possiamo scorgere la vegetazione tipica delle pendici del vulcano come per esempio la ginestra. Il tempo trascorre serenamente e dopo avere ripreso la costellazione di Orione, è tempo di riprendere la via lattea in tutta la sua estensione.

We arrived at the Piano dei Grilli refuge in the town of Bronte known for its pistachio cultivation. The evening is cool but not very cold and Etna is snowy but sleeping. A small curious fox approaches us looking at us from a distance sitting on its hind legs. Her eyes glow deep green. All around us we can see the typical vegetation of the slopes of the volcano such as the broom. Time passes peacefully and after having resumed the constellation of Orion, it is time to resume the Milky Way in all its extension.
