La Taula è un imponente megalite a forma di "T" situato al centro di un recinto di pietra a pianta ellittica o a ferro di cavallo. Questo tipo di struttura veniva solitamente eretto nel cuore degli insediamenti della tarda preistoria di Minorca. Il sito fungeva da santuario a cielo aperto, in cui la comunità prendeva parte a rituali religiosi legati al culto del fuoco, durante i quali si consumava vino e si offrivano animali in sacrificio alla divinità, probabilmente simboleggiata dalla Taula stessa. Questa immagine intende evocare l'antica atmosfera di questi luoghi magici, quando le persone si riunivano sotto il cielo stellato per onorare la divinità.

La Taula is an imposing T-shaped megalith situated at the centre of an elliptical or horseshoe-shaped stone enclosure. This type of structure was usually erected at the heart of late prehistoric settlements on Menorca. The site served as an open-air sanctuary, where the community took part in religious rituals linked to the worship of fire, during which wine was consumed and animals were sacrificed to the deity, probably symbolised by the Taula itself. This image aims to evoke the ancient atmosphere of these magical places, when people gathered beneath the starry sky to honour the deity.
