La luce zodiacale è una luce effimera che si riesce a vedere con estrema difficoltà solo da località conun cielo scuro. Essa è dovuta alla presenza di polveri nel piano del sistema solare che diffondono la luce del sole. Come tale essa si distribuisce lungo la linea dell'eclittica e appare come un bagliore che sorge dall'orizzonte poco prima dell'inizio della notte astronomica. The zodiacal light is an ephemeral light that can be seen with extreme difficulty only from places with a dark sky. It is due to the presence of dust in the plane of the solar system which scatter the sunlight. As such it is distributed along the ecliptic line and appears as a glow that rises from the horizon just before the beginning of the astronomical night.
