Anche questa immagine mostra nel dettaglio la conformazione del cratere di sud est poco dopo il parossismo di giorno 24 febbraio. Dopo avere eruttato polvere vulcanica e lava fluida che ha raggiunto un'altezza di diverse centinaia di metri, questo è come appariva il cratere di sud est. E' possibile notare la spaccatura dell'orlo crateale che si è accresciuto durante l'eruzione. Dalle sue pareti si sgretolano dei massi incandescenti che rotolando mostrano delle vere e proprie strisce di fuoco. Poco più in basso il primo punto brillante è la bocca da cui fluiva un fiume infuocato di lava. Infine in basso si può osservare la colata diretta alla valle del Bove ma in fase di raffreddamento. La scena è accompagnata in cielo dalle nuvole illuminate dai bagliori del vulcano e dalla luce lunare che nel frattempo sta tramontando sul cratere.

Also this image shows in detail the conformation of the south-east crater shortly after the paroxysm of February 24th. After erupting volcanic dust and flowing lava that reached a height of several hundred meters, this is what the southeastern crater looked like. It is possible to notice the crack of the crateal rim that has grown during the eruption. Incandescent boulders crumble from its walls, rolling showing real streaks of fire. A little further down the first shining point is the mouth from which a fiery river of lava flowed. Finally, below you can see the direct flow to the Bove valley but in the cooling phase. The scene is accompanied in the sky by clouds illuminated by the glow of the volcano and by the moonlight and between them, some star trails.
