This image shows the Vizzini wind farm under the winter sky. Although the horizon is illuminated by some inhabited centers, the sky above the park was very dark to the point that the milky way is perfectly visible. This ranges from the Orion constellation on the right to the Cygnus constellation on the left. In the Milky Way several objects can be distinguished such as: the Pleiades, the Andromeda galaxy, the Barnard ring but also the North America nebula. Finally, it is possible to distinguish a very famous asterism: the winter hexagon formed by the most important stars of the winter sky. The Milky Way, and many other objects, typically visible in the winter sky pass through the hexagon.

Questa immagine mostra il parco eolico di Vizzini sotto il cielo invernale. Sebbene l'orizzonte sia illuminato da alcuni centri abitati, il cielo sopra il parco si presentava molto buio al punto tale che la via lattea risulta perfettamente visibile. Questa va dalla costellazione di orione a destra fino alla costellazione del cigno a sinistra. Nella via lattea possono essere distinti diversi oggetti come: le Pleiadi, la galassia di Andromeda, l'anello di Barnard ma anche la nebulosa Nord America. Infine è possibile distinguere un asterisma molto famoso: l'esagono invernale ai cui vertici vi sono le stelle più importanti del cielo invernale. All'interno dell'esagono transita la via lattea e molti altri oggetti tipicamente visibili nel cielo invernale.
