Just before the morning of February 19, it was possible to witness a very fascinating celestial show. Near the end of the astronomical night Saturn, Jupiter, the Moon, Mars arose from this marine horizon captured on the coast near the city of Syracuse. The scene is enhanced by the presence of the ISS and the ashen waning moon with a small corona. The dawn started to illuminate the sky and the sea coast where there are some circular basins from the Roman era used for the production of lime. The ISS passed exactely when the ambient light was chaning. This is why this image shows the transition from night to dawn by means of multiple shots that allowed to track the interantiona space station one the sky.
The basins were lit with orange LEDs to reconstruct the scene of the fires that once burned under the starry sky.

PPoco prima della mattina del 19 febbraio, è stato possibile assistere a uno spettacolo celeste molto affascinante. Verso la fine della notte astronomica Saturno, Giove, la Luna, Marte sorsero da questo orizzonte marino catturato sulla costa vicino alla città di Siracusa. La scena è arricchita dalla presenza dell'ISS e dalla luna calante cinerea con una piccola corona. L'alba ha iniziato a illuminare il cielo e la costa del mare dove sono presenti alcune vasche circolari di epoca romana utilizzate per la produzione di calce. L'ISS è passata esattamente quando la luce ambientale stava cambiando. Questo è il motivo per cui questa immagine mostra la transizione dalla notte all'alba per mezzo di più scatti che hanno permesso di seguire la stazione spaziale internazionale nel cielo.
Le vasche erano illuminate con LED arancioni per ricostruire la scena dei fuoci che un tempo bruciavano sotto il cielo stellato.
