Dreamy Night On Mount Etna

Once again, the Etna volcano gives emotions! During the night between day 6 and day 7, the volcano showed intense Strombolian activity mainly located in the New South East Crater. I took the shot with the intent to resume the stratifications of the volcano on several levels due to the lava flows that branched off from the summit craters. At the same time, the astronomical night gave way to dawn that tinged the sky with a delicate blue shade. The New South East Crater painted the sky with intense yellow and orange hues with its lava plumes while the stars above drew trails of the earth's rotation. Finally, a small meteor appeared just above the active crater.

Ancora una volta il vulcano Etna regala emozioni! Durante la notte tra giorno 6 e giorno 7, il vulcano manifestava una intensa attività stromboliana principalmente localizzata nel Nuovo Cratere di Sud est. Lo scatto è stato realizzato in modo da riprendere su più piani le stratificazioni del vulcano dovute alle colate laviche che si dipartono dai crateri sommitali. Contemporaneamente la notte astronomica lasciava il passo all'alba mentre il cielo si tingeva di una delicata sfumatura azzurra. Il Nuovo Cretere di Sud Est colorava il cielo con intense sfumature gialle e arancio legate ai suoi fontanamenti mentre nel cielo le stelle disegnavano le tracce della rotazione terrestre. Infine una piccola meteora apparve poco sopra il cratere in attività.
